Donegal Daily
Donegal Daily is a new Web based newspaper based in Donegal. For Donegal Daily there was a requirement for the owners to be able to update the site themselves, WordPress was used for the CMS because of its ease of use. I also provided the client with video tutorials.
Donegal Daily has taken advantage of social networks by having both a facebook and Twitter presence and also by a social widget on the home page.
IT Direct
IT Direct is one of Ireland’s leading IT support and managed service companies.
This project required creating a site that could be easily managed by my client. The solution used was a site built specifically for Adobe Contribute, which has the best in screen WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. This allowed my client to work with complex layouts such as HTML tabled, which would normally require a web designer to do updates.
Dublin Viking Festival
The Dublin Viking Festival is the website for an event that is held on Wood Quay every year. The event is an enjoyable day and is very popular.
The site is a brochure site for the event, and holds information, photos and directions to the event.
The site uses a photo lightbox to enhance that page, and also uses google maps for directions.
Put a nappy on your dog.com
This is a website my son asked me to make when he was 4 years old to alert people to clean up after their dogs in the park. It’s a light hearted childs eye view video of my son telling the story of how his outing in the park was ruined by falling in dog dirt.
The whole project was driven by my son, who by the end of it had a video, interactive game, facebook page and newspaper coverage which had him popular with the kids in school.
Floridays 4 U 2
Floridays 4 U 2 is the website for a rental villa in Florida. The existing site was not fulfilling the owners needs, as the content did not play to the villas amazing facilities and amenities.
On reviewing the site we realised the site needed a content review and visual redesign, and needed a more contemporary feel, including logo design.
The site was enhanced by integrating a booking engine, google maps and a photo light box.
